Community Center / UC Master Gardeners
Join the UC Master Gardeners of Napa Valley and learn about planting cool
season crops now and heat loving vegetables in the summer. Topics
include soil prep, fertilizing, managing pests, irrigation, and planting
schedules. Seeds and plants will be provided for hands on practice in
sowing seeds and transplanting seedlings.

POLITE DOG WALKING MINI COURSE
Yountville Commons - Schmitt Hall / Camille Lina
Transform your dog walking experience into a cooperative, engaging
experience at both ends of the leash, using rewards-based techniques!
Includes leash handling, staying connected, walking at your side, navigating
distractions, waiting, and more. The final class will be held off-site to practice
all you have learned.
Dogs must be comfortable and friendly with people and other dogs. Dogs
must be fully vaccinated for Distemper, Parvovirus, and Rabies. Please send
vaccination records to Rlopez@yville.com at least 5 days before the start of
the class.
Please bring your dog wearing a harness (preferred) or flat buckle collar, a
mat or towel, a 6 - 10 foot leash, a hands-free treat pouch, and a mix of your
dog's favorite treats (soft, small and smelly is best). Please note:
pinch/prong, choke, shock/e-collars, slip leads and retractable leashes
are not permitted for this class.
