HEALING QIGONG
Community Center / Darlene Meltzer
Qi is pronounced chee and is usually translated to mean life force energy.
Gong means to cultivate or work. The class consists of warm up, followed by
gentle rhythmic flowing, easy to follow movements, forms that strengthen legs
and core muscles, ending with brief meditation at the end of class. Qigong
reduces stress, builds stamina, increases vitality, and enhances the immune
system. It will improve balance, cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory,
lymphatic and digestive functions. Qigong helps reduce hypertension and the
incidence of falling in the aged population. Visit www.YourChiLifestyle.com to
learn more. Those who would like to sit on the floor for meditation portion are
encouraged to bring a mat. Chairs will also be available for use.

HEALTHY HABITS IN THE KITCHEN
Community Center / Jessica Pfeufer
Welcome to a class that’s about so much more than recipes — it’s about
creating a lifestyle that nourishes you from the inside out.
In this hands-on experience, we’ll explore how to build simple, sustainable
healthy habits through cooking. You’ll learn how to choose ingredients that
support energy and balance, organize your kitchen for success, and create
meals that are both delicious and deeply nourishing.
Together, we’ll talk about mindful eating, the power of whole foods, and how
small daily choices lead to long-term wellness. Whether you’re here to reset
your routine or refine your skills, this class is designed to help you cook with
