STRETCH & STRENGTHEN

Stretching helps to prevent injuries, reduce pain due to arthritis and other
chronic conditions, lessen the effects of stress & anxiety, while promoting a
sense of relaxation & well-being. This class focuses on gentle stretching while
maintaining proper body alignment. All exercises can be done in a chair or
standing. Wear comfortable clothing. *9/18 class will take place at the
Yountville Commons. No class 11/13

TAI CHI OPEN FLOOR
Community Center
Tai Chi is a practice that involves slow, gentle movements and postures.
Benefits can include increased strength, balance and concentration. No Tai Chi
experience is necessary. Beginners practice alongside experienced
practitioners. Both Yang Style Tai Chi and Sun Style are practiced. Learn the
fundamentals of Tai Chi in a fun and supportive group. *No class 11/12,
11/13, 11/27.

CATCH THE RAIN, SLOW IT, SPREAD IT, SINK IT IN
Community Center / UC Master Gardeners
We will explore the role of the "small water cycle" and how we can become
participants in climate restoration in our own gardens and along with other
community members have a positive effect on our climate. Many strategies
on catching the rain will be explored to help us absorb, restore and adapt to
water's rhythms.
